Return Eligibility
We accept returns within 30 days of purchase under the following conditions:
- Items must be unused, in their original condition, and include proof of purchase.
- This returns policy applies to all John Michael Jewellers pieces, except for:
- Bespoke, custom-made, personalised, or custom-engraved jewellery.
- Sale items.
For hygiene reasons, earrings are non-returnable and do not qualify for our 30-day returns policy.
How to Initiate a Return
To initiate a return, contact our customer service team at info@johnmichael.ie to obtain a Return Authorisation (RA) number. Once you receive your RA number, return the item to:

Return Shipping
- Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the return is due to a mistake on our part or a defective product.
- Use a trackable shipping service and retain proof of postage.
- John Michael Jewellers is not responsible for lost or damaged returns during transit.
Condition of Returned Items
To qualify for a return, items must:
- Be in their original packaging with all tags, labels, and accessories intact.
- Items failing to meet these conditions may be rejected.
Refund Process
- Allow 10-14 business days for your refund to be processed once your return is delivered and inspected.
- Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank or credit card provider.
Late or Missing Refunds:
If your refund has not been received:
- Check your bank account or contact your credit card provider.
- If you still require assistance, email us at shop@johnmichael.ie.
Note: Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error or defective item.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange an item, please:
- Follow the returns process outlined above.
Place a new order for the desired item.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, contact us immediately at shop@johnmichael.ie. We will arrange a replacement or refund, including the cost of return shipping.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Earrings (due to hygiene reasons).
- Bespoke, custom-made, personalised, or custom-engraved jewellery.

Refund Exceptions
Refunds do not include original shipping costs unless the return is due to an error or a defective product.
Lost or Damaged Returns
John Michael Jewellers is not liable for returns lost or damaged during shipping. Please ensure proper packaging and use a reliable courier service.
